Por ejemplo, borrow a jacket from a friend y lend a jacket to a friend describen direcciones distintas del préstamo.

Conviene reconocer estas combinaciones:

  • Verbo + nombre: make progress, take a photo, have a rest.
  • Verbos con partícula: put on a coat, look after a child.
  • Expresiones cotidianas: on time, in a hurry, at first.
