Dónde va el complemento
Algunos se pueden separar: Turn down the radio y Turn the radio down son correctas. Si el complemento es un pronombre, colócalo en medio: turn it down, pick her up, look it up.
Otros mantienen sus partículas juntas: look after someone, run out of something.
Ojo: no traduzcas cada parte por separado. Look after significa «cuidar», no «mirar después». Además, se dice look after them, no
look them after.
