Repaso del vocabulario

Para hablar del tiempo en inglés usamos sobre todo it’s + adjetivo o there’s + sustantivo.

Sustantivo Adjetivo Ejemplo
sun sunny It’s sunny.
cloud cloudy It’s cloudy.
wind windy It’s windy.
fog foggy It’s foggy.
rain rainy It’s a rainy day.
snow snowy a snowy morning

Rain y snow también son verbos: It’s raining. It snows a lot in the mountains.

Temperatura

De más frío a más calor: freezing → cold → cool → warm → hot → boiling.

Ojo: para preguntar por el tiempo decimos What’s the weather like?, no How is the weather like?
